Problem Statement
Many of us had faced the problem with the CD/DVD drive. When you insert a CD/DVD disc into the drive and when you try to open, it reports “F:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function”.

Solution
If you really stuck up with this problem follow two easy steps to get rid of this
1. Right click the CD/DVD drive from My Computer and goto properties.
2. Goto–> recording tab and tick “Enable CD Recording on this drive”
Thats it. You can access the CD/DVD. Hope this will fix your problem.

Hi Aashok,
As you see in the screenshot,you should enable CD recording option in your cd-drive [Right click on CD/DVD drive----> properties-->recording tab]. If the problem still persists i will give an alternate solution.
